As a Social Entrepreneur & teacher, Raj Ridvan Singh has passionately worked towards the progress of the socio-economic status of youths by empowering them with capacity- building, life skills, leadership and employment skills that positively affect the development of the community and nation on a macro-level.
For over 8 years, he and Dhinu Dhanveer Singh (brother) leads Science of Life Systems 24/7 (SOLS 24/7), Malaysia, Cambodia and East Timor. Raj Ridvan Singh serves as the International Director & Co-Founder. He served as Country Director of SOLS 24/7 in East Timor. He is currently expanding his social development work as the Country Director of SOLS 24/7 Malaysia . SOLS 24/7 is committed to the holistic education and long-term development of youths throughout Southeast Asia. 26,000 youths have gone through SOLS 24/7’s training in academic, job, leadership and life-skills education.
For his continuous efforts in youth education, he was awarded the YouthActionNet Award-2004 by International Youth Foundation, The Youth & ICT Award-2005 by Global Knowledge Partnership and was presented the Youth Social Enterprise Fellowship (15,000 USD) by YSEI in 2006. Raj secured USD 50,000 from a Microsoft Grant for his social enterprise in Timor-Leste (SOLS 24/7) after impressing the panel during the the Scale-up Pitching session at YSEF in 2008.
Raj Ridvan Singh has represented ASEAN, Malaysia & Cambodia in several distinguished international conferences in Malaysia, Tunis, Argentina, Colombo, San Francisco, Sydney, Singapore, Thailand and Cambodia. He was a plenary speaker at several of these conferences presenting on youth related issues and sharing his work experience in implementing sustainable socio-economic development programs for the youth community.
Being experienced in the field of Social Entrepreneurship, Youth Development and Leadership & Character building he currently is a speaker in the field and has mentored, trained and gave talks at various International and National Conferences & Conventions.
He is the Founder & Director of DR Resource Management, (DR Maids & Manpower | DR Import & Export (Malaysia & Cambodia). His successful business has provided employment to foreign nationals, enabling them to earn an income to support their families back home & the Import of Dried Fruits from the Middle East to Cambodia.
At the age of 16, he was awarded the Youngest Microsoft Certified Professional in ASEAN and at 17, he became the Youngest Certified Systems Engineer in ASEAN. He then became Head of Technical Department & Professional Computer Trainer for New Horizons Int’l Computer Learning Center – Melaka, Malaysia.
