- I run a startup, Ayllu Initiative, by day and night. I'm a social entrepreneur exploring how to spread microenterprises that tackle poverty.
After graduating from Duke University in 2007 I became the Latin America Liaison for Ashoka, an amazing organization that supports leading social entrepreneurs who solve problems in groundbreaking ways. I founded Ayllu because somebody had to. I now work on Ayllu full-time and am psyched to be in Brazil. Experiences that have been formative for me are: StartingBloc (an extraordinary opportunity for young adults), Seeds of Peace Camp, Humanity in Action – Netherlands, and time spent with young people in the Middle East and Latin America.
