Create change your own way!

I just joined the network, but wanted to introduce myself and the project on which I'm working. PledgeBank.com is a great tool that allows users to create a pledge to action -- anything you want -- and to bring others into that pledge so that you don't have to act alone.

The site follows a simple formula: "I will do X action, but only if Y number of people will do the same." The idea is that if folks have a tool to allow them to stick their neck out a bit, but only have to act if others pledge to do the same, then more good ideas will get out into the world and no one will have to create change alone.

Please feel free to play around on the site, and let me know if you have thoughts on how we can make it better. The site is in open source code, so you can also feel free to pull parts of it into your own work -- and it runs in a bunch of languages, all translated by interested volunteers!

Any success cases you want to feature? May be you can point some out, it's a great tool for young people who want to start doing something good with unknown friends! If you have any cool cases, please share it here or may be at the blog post up there.

There are many people who want to good in the world yet for some reason or other many not be able to get out and do as much fundraising as they would like to due to family constraints or other factors. And not many people can nowadays afford those monthly donations to charities. So what can we do?

I am fortuntate in that I have found away to raise funds for thousands of charities and non-profits as well as for myself and my family be being an "Advocate for Change".
This is suitable for many people and with 100% of the profits dedicated to crisis or life-line grants for charites and non-profit organizations and also for new start up social enterprise I know it's a really worthwhile thing to do.
