Corporate Social Responsibility Is About Commitment, Change

Is the bottled-water corporation that uses 30 percent less plastic in its bottles really socially responsible or is it green-washing? Arguably the environment is better off than it would be using the energy to make 30 percent more plastic and dispose thereof.



But it is certainly green-washing to run ads that imply drinkers of their bottled water are as environmentally conscious as those who ride bikes instead of driving or plant trees.
